I am an American and a Catholic -- two affiliations that it's still permissible for Hollyweird to slander and bash to their hearts' content. Personally, I think you could expand the latter to Christian and it would be equally valid. The last explicitly favorable television out of Hollywood was "Touched by an Angel" that ended in '03. I think that there may have been something since, but I am not certain.
It would be an interesting study to find out how many nominal and practicing Christians there are in Hollywood and what their population percentage is within the industry. I think that I would not be suprised if they were a weak minority.
