I’ve always wondered, how does someone go about making themselves believe something?

I think it's more of a process of recognizing what one does believe and inquiring as to why or if it is a correct belief.

Who determines the correctness of a belief? How would you know if they are right?

I’m guessing that those that believe the same, would determine that the belief to be correct, while those that don’t, would determine the belief to be incorrect.
