For discussion.

As you can see, this is a lengthy but interesting article, taken from an Orthodox blog.

“Everybody wants to rule the world.” You know the song and the history of “world rulers.” Most people just want to be left alone, but there is a segment of people that only desire to control the lives of others. History is filled with their desires to conquer, control, and subjugate the masses. Stay tuned, because more are on the way.

Recognition and successful work of the New Group of World Servers will be accorded by the Hierarchy, and the testimony of the recognition will be the appearing of a symbol in the aura of...the entire group. This will be a symbol projected by the Hierarchy, specifically by the Christ... It is "the mark of a Saviour" and it will embody the mark or indication (the signature as medieval occultists used to call it) of a new type of salvation or salvage.

Would anyone like to bet that this mark will include three 6's?

I've been a Fundamentalist Protestant and even a John Bircher, so I understand where the writer is coming from. A few comments, however:

The "new age movement" is as evil as evil can be, but--

its teachings are altogether false and none of the "deities" or whatever these people believe in actually exist. Many of them, as former chr*stians, retain the chr*stian error that Satan is the "fallen angel Lucifer" who is in rebellion against G-d (G-d forbid!). This doesn't mean that the Satan and the demons aren't doing their jobs and exploiting all these foolish people, of course.

"Globalism" is the ideology of only the Western Left. Non-Western and "Third World" Leftists are fanatical nationalists who would have been at home in World War II-era Japan. Their goal is an ethnically pure mystical motherland whose pristine virgin soil shall no longer be violated by the white "foreign devil." Any such "world government" will be made up of only the Western nations.

While I am adamantly opposed to any one world system of any kind other than one completely ruled by the True G-d I have come to believe that many of the anti-globalists (especially the racist, anti-Semitic variety) are in fact henotheists--people who reject the idea of a single G-d and believe there is a separate "gxd" for each nation. This explains their hostility to Judaism and the otherwise strange combination of this hostility with racialism and an aversion to "race-mixing" (some even deny that the human race is a single species). The fact is that Fundamentalist Protestants traditionally did not consider "one world government" to be inherently evil but rather believed that the true one world government of G-d A-mighty must first be preceded by an evil counterfeit one-world government of Satan, and it is this first that they always opposed. This fact has been forgotten recently, which I believe aids the slide into henotheism.

Finally, whatever one may say about the J Witnesses (and they are certainly annoying and their religion is certainly false), I think it is unfair to count them as part of a sinister globalist conspiracy. They are in fact "Theocratic anarchists" who believe all human government is inspired by Satan and they thus refuse citizenship in any human government, awaiting the Divine government instead (as they understand it). That isn't too very far from traditional Fundamentalist Protestantism.

Ping to Quix.

I haven't read this all yet, but a few comments.

If you research history, and look at how some of the great generals like Napoleon expressed their goals, you find that it follows (somewhat) what is said here.

They usually want to unite the world in a New Order (Napoleon's, Hilter’s, and Stalin's word for it, that term is not new) of universal government. They want to corrupt or replace Christianity with a new teaching, and they all have strong hints of demonic help (Napoleon's Red Man for example). They often appear unstoppable, and then fall quickly. Former followers of them acknowledge the horrors that they have done, but often say that they would do them again because of the hold the great general had on them.

Now this isn't an endorsement of any grand conspiracy, but an acknowledgment of the battle between God and the devil that is going. The devil has a plan, and has been working to implement it for some time now. If you read the Bible, you can see that God lets the devil come close in the End, only to through him into the eternal prison.

“It can be expected that the orthodox Christian will at first reject the theories about the Christ which occultism presents; at the same time, this same orthodox Christian will find it increasingly difficult to induce the intelligent masses of people to accept the impossible Deity and the feeble Christ, which historical Christianity has endorsed.”

Sounds like the current day.

Very few people perceive the fact that human history has been a battleground. The battle is being waged by Satan and his legions against our Creator; and the prize is our souls,...

The prize is the future of our species. As long as red herring arguments continue about evolution, the facts of our existence will be left out in the cold. We were created and survive by the grace and good will of God on a planet that has an ancient history of prior successful occupation by another species. There is no guarantee that we will be able to hold onto our good fortune if we don't cleave to the power that brought us this far along.

Not everything that says ‘global’ is part of globalism.
