“I think theres something in the Bible about no man knowing the day or hour.”
That’s true but if he’s right, which I doubt, the rapture could be between now and up to exactly 7 years before the return. So the day and hour is still not known. But is that passage talking about the second coming or when Jesus comes in the clouds?

Dream away. The “gap theory” in Daniel’s prophecy ain’t in Scripture - it’s a dispy fabrication.
To: Iscool
the scripture saying a thousand years is like a day does not say it is LITERALLY a day to God.....it is LIKE it.
I do not get those who try to say that is some sort of God calendar.
To: JamesP81
You are right...even JESUS doesn’t know ‘when’. FWIW...luck is a derivative of lucifer.

Then Christians for most of history were wrong.......pre-tribbers are a recent incarnation except for a few historical pre-tribs in the middle ages and later.
To: Iscool
“you will know the times and the seasons when HE shall show up...”
That’s because the Bible is very clear on when He shows up. Exactly 7 years after the Anti-Christ signs the peace treaty with Israel. Christians who are alive now will be caught up when Christ returns in the air. Those people who get saved after the peace treaty will know exactly when Christ will return.

If GOD’s true church will meet him in the Clouds however that manifests itself then wouldn’t it make more sense that he is talking about believers when he says
*You do not know when your Lord shall Come* But look up! as your redemption draws nigh..
Maybe that means the rapture will definetly be at night maybe when we are sleeping
When he returns to earth to rein will be later when he wipes out the Antichrist.

The Parable of the fig tree tells us what generation will be alive when Jesus returns. The fig tree came into bloom in 1948 when Israel became a nation (the fig tree has always been the symbol of the nation of Israel).
Matthew 24:32-36
32 Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh; 33 even so ye also, when ye see all these things, know ye that he is nigh, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.
While it's true that we don't know the day or the hour we do know the generation.

Messianic Pastor Mark Biltz discovered these signs... Sells books, fills chairs (pass the collection basket), elevates pulpit-ed ego, and allows for the construct of a hierarchy so that the "best and truest believers" can rule over the bewildered.
It is ugly, perverse, and common in history.
Here, take this millstone, tie it around your neck, and throw yourself off the nearest pier.

Good people can disagree on this but the people who arent pre-trib are wrong.
Awfully sure of yourself are we? The problem with not being a pre-tribber is that you can never be proven right until all is said and done. In fact, if we're right, no pre-tribber will believe the antichrist is the antichrist because they will continue to say "but but but, the rapture hasn't happened yet." And in fact, I see Thessalonians as supporting the idea of a post-trib rapture.
To: Iscool
But why do you guys ignore the verses that say we (Christians) will KNOW the TIMES, and the SEASONS??? If you're a Christian, and you love God's word, you will know the times and the seasons when HE shall show up... Millions of Christians have thought themselves to have known the times and seasons including the 1st century Christians. What makes you think you're smarter than all of those escatologists who've preceeded you?

just not sure of your destination.
Thank you for your good will.
Yet come what will to ilka ane,

None the less, there will be a pre-trib rapture according to Thessalonians and other scriptures. Good people can disagree on this but the people who arent pre-trib are wrong.
Again, awfully sure of ourselves aren't we? Thessalonians does not give a time frame for the rapture except that it occurs at the coming of the Lord, and to me that says post-trib, christ's return after the trib. I wish I was wrong, I wish I didn't believe that Christians would have to endure the tribulation, but unfortunately I've looked at the verses and I can't in all honesty say that I see a pre-trib rapture being described.

Now that this man’s picked a date, I know that that is NOT ever going to be the date. Ever.

Now that this mans picked a date, I know that that is NOT ever going to be the date. Ever. Why is that ? Your lack of understanding of YHvH's calendar
and how He has used it in past ?
