Those aren't dumb questions at all. The fact that they're sending a nun does make it seem like they're not treating this matter seriously enough.
And you're right, it is a federal crime to disrupt a religious service. I don't know how often they prosecute though.

The fact that they're sending a nun does make it seem like they're not treating this matter seriously enough. Unless they use academia's own "weapons" against them. What would happen if the Nun were a "protected minority" and this little punk started trouble with her?
