This picture was taken from the inside of the LA Cathedral by the LA Times during the opening ceremonies of the place. Look ... I am NO fan of Mahony. I personally battled liturgical dance at my parish ... and won! But ...there are limits to what the Vatican can do. These abuses are not limited to the US but pervasive in other countries as well.
