When ever anyone receives the Eucharist in the state of sin, they have an ex-officio excommunication. Publicly supporting the freedom to choose to kill the unborn is a sin; hence, she is already excommunicated and only compounds her sins in the face of God and the Church. Eternity is a very, very long time and God is watching.

I was wondering as I watched Kennedy at the DNC convention yesterday, how a man raised in the Catholic church, having learned whatever he did of Catholicism in the pre-Vatican II era, can be approaching his death and not repent of several of the positions he has advocated for so long.
