Heresy is going against religious dogma. It is not limited to the Catholic Church. Christianity as a whole is against abortion. Anyone professing to be a Christian, who also professes support for abortion in any way, is a heretic. Period. The same is true of anyone professing support for acceptance of gay and lesbian lifestyles within the Church. Such lifestyle is an abomination against God, as is abortion.

Yeah, and one's skin color, and wallowing in the past and taking retribution on those that had wronged one's ancestors, was high on the list of the New Testament creeds also...no heresy there down at the tucc ranch... not at all...

If the approval of abortion is heresy, then why does the Church sanction heresy by not excommunicating prominent Democratic politicians?
