I am pleased that the bishops have finally started speaking up in the past few weeks; however, I also agree with Judie Brown that it’s necessary to go further. Catholics MUST be held accountable to Canon Law regarding mortal sin and the ONLY way to accomplish that is to start with the most visible offenders and those are the politicians.
