You are not nearly as well informed as you would like to think. I attend an AofG church, and we have a Master’s Commission program. The program is a discipleship and ministry training program, focusing on urban missions, reaching out to the lost in large urban areas, both here and abroad.

I have attended Pentecostal churches most of my life, and have yet to see anyone to achieve “dominion” in any secular sense. Any “armies” you might refer to are armies of young people going out to evangelize the lost. Yes, we believe the Bible speaks of last days, and since no one knows when that will be, we take seriously Christ’s command to preach the gospel to every creature. I am not familiar with Morning Star, and I have seen ministries that seem to go off on the deep end theologically, but this post is just an attempt to make people afraid of Sarah Palin because of her religion.

I appreciate your concern and I am for Sarah Palin.

The damage done by this movement already in charismatia is enormous. It began with Bob Jones’ revelation by his ‘angel” Emma who reinstituted many of William Branham’s Latter Rain/Manifest Sons of God doctrines for the birth of the Kansas City Prophets of Bob Jones, Paul Cain and Mike Bickle of IHOP.

Despite the perverted sexual activities of Bob Jones in the early 90’s, which in a strict Biblcal sense was ‘Baal Worship” the man was “prophesying” over naked women in his church office while molesting them, this movement did not lose steam but went on to swallow the Vineyard movements with the Toronto Blessing “revival” of the 90’s.

This led to this summer’s “Lakeland Revival” with Todd Bentley, birthed in the same false prophetic bathwater as Kansas City and Toronto.

The most stunning thing about it was that the Assemblies of God — who had for nearly half a century stood against this movement — now hosted it. Throughout June and July many concerned Charismatics were in an uproar that the AOG would not see the deception that was going on.

ABC news did. So did USA Today. But if we read our bibles, we see that the fruit of this false prophetic Jezebelic spirit is always sexual immorality. Sure ‘nuff, Bentley was having an affair that led to his filing divorce papers in early August. For the charismatic mindset, this means that during this whole ‘revival” he was in sin, which disqualifies every NARbot leader who backed him.

I posted this not to dig dirt on Palin but to give her a chance to discern and distance herself from these deceptions. These NARbot leaders want to “get close” to her already— they are power groupies — -and already have “prophesied” about her in a familiar spirit of course.

I love AOG, mostly.

The only thing I can tell you is that there is a deceptive lie in the arena of “spiritual warfare” that was first propagated, to my knowledge, by C Peter Wagner.

This is that we evangelize by “spiritual declarations” and “prayer against principalities” over geographical locations.

Uh... but Wagner, who is an academic from Fuller, forgets one major thing in his hypothesis: This idea of “taking cities for God” contradicts the Bible.

The Gospel must be preached to individuals, not inanimate objects or buildings or rivers or cities or geographical locations -- "how can they believe unless they hear the Word preached"? And the lies of the enemy, which are the true “strongholds” must be disentangled in love off unbelievers. Wagner's thesis, which I believe corrupted the true intercessory faith of Cindy Jacobs and Dutch Sheets, contradicts the Word and makes prayer and intercession into a video game against the devil.
