I won’t be able to watch this if C-SPAN carries this live tonight, but I sure would like a transcript of Obama’s speech.

I predict that he will skirt around the pro-life issue making a lot of comments that SOUND pro-life but when analysed mean nothing (Sort of like his “we’ll take a look at drilling” comment he made in the debate last night).

That depends on how close the Arch Bishop keeps his exorcist. It would be interesting to see reactions to Holy Water and the Presence of the Holy Eucharist, but that's not for playing magic shows (the way Jesus refused to entertain Herod with miracles as if they were mere magic tricks).

Catholics can no longer coddle the world's leadership. People are well exposed to evil and it shouldn't be covered up as “taboo”. When your young puppy piddles the carpet, you grab the pup by the scruff (so as not to do physical damage) and put the young dog's nose in the mess and shout, “NO!” What should God's representation do for human leadership equipped with free will? How about this:

We can easily find graphic depictions of war, but I hope the diner exposes the wickedness of sin with graphic video of what sin does in a sleeping society;

what abortion does to human children,

executions by fanatics (beheading, throat cutting...not of nationalistic soldiers POWs, but of the school girls walking home from their Church = innocent victims),

female castration in line with twisted traditions (this practice is definitely not of God),

homosexual behavior and its consequence (murderous jealousy endemic of fanatical homosexuals, the numbers, the facts, the target of these who pervert human sexuality, nothing sanitized for viewer's comfort)

euthanized victims who were too old, sick, handicapped, disfigured, etc.

I get a queasy feeling that there's evil in the world and I have to search hard for what civil “authority” covers up to protect my sensitivity and morale. But, this is not U-Boats sinking American shipping off the East Coast. This is SIN and its real effect in society whose moral conscience has fallen asleep.
