Please do not speak your fears into concrete expression. Instead, speak faith that God is in control, and will take care of His true believers, even those who are martyrs, as He always has.

Certainly God is God and always will be God . . . strong in behalf of those who Love Him.

Vegetables are made by God, but some end up as compost. You must be born again; that is, when you reach an age of maturity and are old enough to read and comprehend the gospel, you must make a personal commitment. If you don't, you are primarily just taking up space and wasting resources until you die.
God calls us to pray for our leaders. Beyond that, you do not know what God has done, or intends to do in the next few years.

This might just be a 3 1/2 year “reign” - cut short to spare us...2012 just might be the beginning of God’s undisputed reign on the earth.

I do not know if anyone has posted this and I haven’t got time to go through about 170 comments to find out. That being said, I disagree with the Topic’s title. Perhaps it is correct to say God has removed His hand, but I think what has really happened is stated in 1 Samuel 8:7b:
“for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.”
It is we who have abandoned God, not the reverse. May God have mercy on us.
Considering how many false proclamations have been made, I tend not to take “gifts” too seriously when it comes to politics. Not seriously at all, in fact.
God removed his hand sometime ago, we just didn’t know it.
McCain was the best we could come up with because God didn’t raise a real champion, that was the sign.
