My default setting is obedience to the bishops. In this case, though, I think conservative Catholics have a chance to make their voices hear. I am torn between giving nothing and writing a check for $0.01 and putting it in the envelope.

They have, in this case, been irresponsible stewards of the money we gave them.

Just put in a note that this organization does not conform to Catholic principles and that you will not support it. That should send a message, and the Pastor will read it, I suspect.
