I would like to see more posted about the obligation of wrongdoers to be sorry, repent and make reparations. And I’d like to hear it in sermons on Sunday as well. Even once would be nice.
I passed one post on to my deacon today and he responded with a couple of things he would like to talk about. Never hurts to try.
Sometimes a deacon can talk about things more easily than the priest can, although our priest doesn’t mince words at all.
For instance at tonight’s vigil Mass he told us to look for the polluted rags and the dried leaves in our souls and get to work cleaning it up!
