What makes you think this is an angel?

I don't think that it is an angel, but I have no doubt that it is in fact an angel. The angel is not in a picture to be seen with the eye, the angel is in the story to be felt by the heart.

[recall Christ’s word about a “kingdom divided” when the elders questioned *where* his miracles “came from”]

Tell me I’m wrong here. Are you saying that because I don’t think this is an angel, I’m not saved? or that I’m somehow harming/dividing the Kingdom because I disagree with you?

The Word also talks about those who seek after signs and wonders

When I was 20, I suffered a skull injury *so* bad, my parents were told to “buy a box”.
They said *if* I lived, I would most certainly be a vegetable.

My equally hard-headed dad sat by my hospital bed 24/7, praying.

On the 11th day, I suddenly, shockingly woke up.
After the initial “freak out” of where was I/why am I here?, I demanded a cheeseburger.

[after 11 days, I was -starved-]

They fed me, let me have a shower and I went home that day.

In addition to the massive damage incurred on the entire right side of my brain, I have absolutely *no* frontal lobe left.
It was pulverized to useless sludge by the impact and the damaged tissue was absorbed by my body.

For *many* years, MRIs showed nothing but a fist-sized “hole” in my brain. [insert “hole in your head” jokes here] and later ones showed that scar tissue had filled the hole.

Yet here I am, with a *much* higher IQ than I had pre-injury and not only am I *not* a vegetable, I’m quite verbose and intelligent.

Not only that, if I *had* died back then, I’d be in hell, right now.

God’s mercy, miracles and grace?

I can write ~volumes~ on *that*....:)

I said no such things nor did I imply them.

You don’t seem to be overly familiar with the scripture I mentioned, though, or the context would have been abundantly clear.

I seek after no signs or wonders.

They just seem to pop up all the time, on their own.

Maybe I’m “just lucky”....:)

Now, now...let’s not be unkind.

Just because he doesn’t believe *this* doesn’t mean he’s not a *believer*....:)

When a child is saved from death and one comments.... Or, maybe its a demon. They’re just fallen angels. Satan can appear as an angel of light.

I wonder how the parents would feel if they heard something like this after a miracle.

Oh chit, did you notice the post number of my reply.

Well, knowing my dad, he’d just punch the speaker instead of wasting his time arguing theology...;]

I have no idea how to see post numbers.

if we need photo graphs to prove angles exist, then we really don’t believe in angles.

I find it sad that this picture has blinded you to the real story here.

Forget about the angel, it’s about the little girl who didn’t die after the doctors had given her over to death.

After my mother had passed away, I was driving on Lancaster near Will Rogers Colisium in Fort Worth. Feeling sorry for myself and what was I going to do without her. All of the sudden, the sky opened up which looked just like a biblical picture full of heavenly light. I heard my mother’s voice telling me that she was alright and not worry as everything would be okay. I almost wrecked my car. God works in mysterious ways to comfort you.

The real person is the soul, and the brain is merely a tool. Of course, it is a very good and useful tool. But it is not the source of consciousness. You are proof of that. People are not meat machines; our real identity is eternal soul, just inhabiting the bodies...for a while.

A wonderful story, thank you for telling it.
