Those of you who know me personally know that I'm not an apocalyptic type of guy. I don't put stock in conspiracy theories. I don't see black helicopters anywhere, and I don't follow the prophecy prognosticators.

Fear not. Obama’s civilian army will protect us from everything that will cause harm.
Your quote is ONE of the reasons I am a “mid-tribulationist” or, more accurately, Post-tribulation, Pre-Wrath of God.
This site covers SOME of my perspective:

You know, as a Catholic I’ve never learned much about this stuff, but you guys really do have some interesting, compelling, and dare I say valid and relevant things to say. I’m starting to buy into it, there’s simply way too many correlations to what is happening in the world for this stuff to be explained away by coincidence. Very fascinated by all this, do keep posting and thanks!
Without clicking-through the link, such a statement is usually followed by the conjunction "but," and then followed in turn by the truth.
These are the first gold coins he has found after looking for months and is rushing there to buy some now.
So.... (BTW, I still have my $402.00 ea Krugerrands I bought in 1993.)
Forget gold, buy something useful.Like food, more ammo, and maybe some body armour.
My husband and I have a plan, and we’re working our plan.
1. buy guns and ammo
2. practice with said guns
3. stock up on food, store water
4. save money
5. pay off debt
6. look for ways to shore up the security of our home
Once we have that in place, we’ll begin putting plans into place for bugging out, but we figure that hunkering down, anonymously, in a large city with plenty of provisions might be our best bet. Unfortunately, where we live, if masses of people try to leave town (Phoenix), it will turn deadly.
Not much you can do but lock, stock, load, pray and remain watchful.
You will not know the day or hour, but you will know the time. Therefore, look up for your redemption is nigh. As a baptized, confirmed, believing, sacramental and praying Christian wherever you bow you head and knee in reverence, you are the body of Christ. As the body of Christ, He is in you and you are in Him.
By the way, He is talking to those who listen, and we're all getting the same message. He is a Good Shepherd and His flock know his voice.
And make sure VERY few people know of your plan - I mean besides us!
I have a few other recent posts there that might also be of interest to some folks: http://patrickmadrid.blogspot.com including a brief debate I had with a Catholic bishop (I am Catholic, BTW) on a secular radio show discussing the issue of gays in the priesthood. The bishop took the position that it's not a problem, and I took the opposite stand. You can listen to the audio of the show and see what you think.
Thanks again.
Thanks CG, and God Bless you - we Christians need to stick together!
John 3:1-36
Matthew 24-25
Trust in Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone. Keep watch and pray continually. Stay in the Bible the Word of God and read and study daily.
They will know us by our love for one another. It is not I, but He who is in me that speaks. My Love, my Lord, my Savior, that King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Ruler of the Universe, Almighty God and Father, the everlasting Prince of Peace, and my “best friend forever” in the truest sense of the Word.
Hey ChocChip,
I’ve got 1,2 and 4 done
Interesting read. One commenter talks about God sending “rowboats”.
I have lived in the Seattle area since 1966. My friend moved to central Kentucky a few years ago and, on every visit there, my wife and I got more and more interested in getting out of this moral/political/traffic cesspool and moving to that area.
Except I didn’t think I wanted to enter the housing market until 2011 at the earliest.
Well, on the last trip in October, we found EXACTLY what we were looking for and I told my friends and my wife that he probably wanted “X” for it but if it was below “Y”, I’d buy it in a heartbeat. He was asking $2,000 less than “Y”. We bought it.
Since the election I strongly get the feeling God directed this purchase. The owner and his wife are calling it a “God thing” as well.
It is off a backroad off a backroad off yet another backroad, yet only 15 minutes from two different Wal-Marts.
I’ve decided I’m going to put a sign on the entry from the main road:
Copperhead Road
TO
Galt’s Gulch
Krugs are nice with not too much premium, I’ve been buying Gold Maple Leafs, but I was ecstatic to finally find and purchase my first Gold American Eagle, what a beautiful coin.
