You can point it out, but Im not sure how relevant it is to the discussion. And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!' I submit the bridegroom was least expected at midnight. I also submit that he appeared at midnight, not at 6 am.
It is the shout of the angels and blast of the trumpet that announce the approach of Messiah. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.
Im not trying to make too fine an edge on this parables, but they certainly seem to fit with the unknown yet unmistakable timing of the Second Coming.
You seem to think you can know more about the timing of the Second Coming than even Jesus knew. I have problems with that idea.
Yeah, I think this discussion has pretty much run it’s course with me. We have a rule at work: Once three emails pass and there is still confusion or lack of agreement, we need to talk - face to face if possible - because the emails are officially declared a waste of time beyond that point.
I think we reached that point here a long time ago. We seem to disagree and I suppose it needs to be left at that. Either that or I need to start getting paid by the hour for this thread. ;)
