To: The Ignorant Fisherman

The claim that the stimulus bill limits religious liberty is way overblown (WorldNutDaily — big surprise).

It says that government money intended for building improvements can’t be spent on buildings that are “used for worship.” The WND article claims that a student praying in a dormitory may cause it to qualify as a building “used for worship.”

This is nonesense, as the bill pretty clearly is discussing institution, not personal, uses of the buildings. If the university sponsors prayer meetings in the dorm, it MIGHT fall under this provision — if someone wants to be a jerk about it. But if it’s just students praying of their own volition, it doesn’t apply.

If the disingenuous jerks wrote such insidious language into this trecherous bill, you think they're not going to be dangerous jerks after this piece of dog-doo passes? Since when should Marxists be trusted?
