Thanks (to all) for your prayers on this. As an update, the surgery went well and he is expected to be released from hospital on Monday.

Praise GOD! When this operation goes well it is one of the coolest there is. Even 30 years ago when I was in the chaplain bidnis it was great to see people come into the hospital in pain and leave with a smile.
