A friend of mine, fellow K of C, is having hip replacement surgery today.

I had a replacement in Sept. last year. I waited (my choice) one year to have it done thinking that I could cure myself. I wish I didn't wait.

I feel like a new person and 15 years younger.

It's amazing what an ortho surgeon can do.

I was walking without any can or walker in less than 4 days.

I pray that your friend's surgery is as successful.

My hip was replaced on April 14th a year ago. I am walking fine with no pain. It’s worth it even though the rehab is a drag. (But then I walked with a cane favoring that leg and hip for years.)
