From this I interpret that the likes of Pelosi and Kennedy ought not to receive Communion, and if they ask for it Communion is to be denied. Is that a correct assessment? If so, what is the likelihood of it being carried out?

Will it be enforced? In Scranton, apparently so. In other dioceses? We shall see.

I wonder if Bp Martino has sent copies of all this to the other bishops? I guess WE could do that! Especially to (Most Reverend) Donald W. Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington, DC.
