Archbishop Wuerl has used firm-sounding words before. Thus, that isn't surprising.
What would be surprising is if he started to back up his words and began to act like a Catholic bishop by starting to rule and discipline those who live and communicate within his archdiocese.

The Archbishop of Washington has ecclesiastical jurisdiction over every last stinking one of these pro-death self-so-called “Catholic” politicians. Speaking for myself only: I am “disheartened” by his failure to discipline them. They must choose between being Catholic and being prodeath. They cannot be both.
