OK, did you really read the excerpt of what was threaded? The column itself, while yes -- it dealt directly with Mormon doctrine -- wasn't simply about something quite obscure...unless you think using fetuses for spare parts or embryonic stem cells for research is obscure.
This was also about a current social issue in which embryos are at risk.
In addition, if you don't like daily newspapers like the Mormon Times -- part of the Utah-based Deseret News -- running clips about Orin Hatch's liberal position on embryonic stem cell research based upon the LDS church's doctrinal stance, then by all means...write them. Tell them that. Tell them that you don't think the LDS church's liberal position on this should be informing such views of the sanctity of life.

As I see it, your use of directed questions and misguiding comments are designed to guide the thoughts of others, giving good evidence that you are not just posting something for discussion. Just look at your remarks that you posted along with the article you posted.
The evidence points to you doing something other then you have stated here.
