After his last church split [split #4], Evans had a confrontation with the pastor over some of the pastor’s sermons and ended up being kicked out of the church....

This man apparently was never a Christian to begin with. Plus, much of modern “evangelical Christianity” is a poor excuse for Christianity. Proper doctrine (and even basic respect for the Lord God) has all but disappeared in modern Christianity.

I’m sure that Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Moonies, etc, all share similar stories.

Sounds like a "vain tradition of men" to me. I thought you guys were opposed to those.
