My wife and I reached that point some years ago when we left the ELCA for the LCMS.
My son and I took the same journey in September of 2005.
For me it was going home as I was born and raised in the LCMS, confirmed in the WELS, then joined the ELCA out of convenience.
I think congregations with a woman pastor are more likely to have an all or mostly female congregation also. There’s a PCUSA congregation in the DFW area with not only a female pastor but an almost all female elder board. The female pastor also complained that all the men she met were either “threatened by a strong woman”(code speak for men who disagreed with her) or “wanted a mommy to baby them”(code speak for men who agreed with her). As far as I know, she is still single(shock! shock!).
Students, in other words!
