Were you around when we had to fast from midnight?

I was around, yes, but hadn't yet made my first Holy Communion when Pius XII limited the midnight fast in 1953 by Christus Dominus and again, this time to the laity in general, in 1957 by Sacram Communionem. The midnight fast is a vague memory, the three hour fast more familiar.
