My sister just called me and told me people are standing up and protesting, and then being escorted out...anybody see that? I’m not near a tv.
I missed it too, I just looked and heard chanting (sounded like a crowd) and saw law enforcement walking out behind a group of people. Good for them! His light-hearted approach to the speech is makes me sick...he’s joking around, as if he has no reason to be somber.
The camera panned and showed a tiny baby foot on top of a grad’s cap. It made me incredibly sad to think of how many graduates aren’t there today....how many wonderful contributions will never be made.
