....People have the freedom to join the Democratic Party, the Republican Party or any other party. Similarly, students have the freedom to choose where they invest their time and money in a college education. If a student does not agree with a conservative Christian colleges belief system, he or she would be wise to find another school. Its his or her freedom to do so.
An academentia free college! Whodda thunk one still existed?
Democrats actually even attend Liberty University? I figured they’d probably be shunned by their fellow “oh so tolerant, loving and open minded” Dems for attending Jerry Falwell’s school.
Good for Liberty University. They’ve got identity. Even better: Identity and Attitude! :o)
In God's Name, I hope so. Just a plain old republic. Not a democratic republic. No stinkin' democracy at all.
That tells me that Falwell has got it right.
I hope he sticks to his guns in the face of the inevitable onslaught.

SNIPPET: Falwell, son of the universitys founder, the late Rev. Jerry Falwell, explained: Official recognition carries with it the benefit of using the university name and funds. While this group will not be an officially recognized club, it may still meet on campus.
According to Falwell, Democratic clubs have existed at Liberty over the last several decadesbut as unofficial student clubs not endorsed by the school.
