How Safe is Sin? Consider todays message: "It is all right to sin as long as you practice SAFE SIN. Drunkenness is OK as long as someone sober drives you home. Narcotics are OK as long as you use clean needles. Sexual deviation is OK since it exists and so it should be approved. Promiscuity is OK as long as you take safe precautions. It is all right to sin, but please, play it SAFE!" The Bible gives the true perspective: "Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death . . . For THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH" (James 1:15; Rom. 6:23).

The remedy (John 3:16,17,36)
Is having to much to drive and not driving a sin? Seriously?
I think you meant “drink”
If you can get drunk and not violate any of Almighty God’s commandments in your heart, mind and actions in the process... be my guest.. lol! Most likely you will though.... then what? Almighty God believes in personal responsibility and accountability unlike Obama. If you see the big picture then you will have no problem understanding the drinking point... Seriously...
Think of Rome. There is no SAFE sin!!!
I see the big picture. However, I don’t think all of my Scotch-Irish ancestors are burning in hell for having a tipple. Nor do I think I will for an occasional single malt too many.
At any rate, I’ll take the chance.
Yes, I meant drink.
You should see my typing when I’ve had a couple...
Yes, the same “safe sins” which push a gay agenda to be rewarded in love, money and pleasures while inflicting sodomic pain and torture to partners.
Very very safe... (sarc off)
We have a sickening creepying legal culture indeed.
Can you say Gehonnim.
My friend, Drinking or any other vice will not send you to Hell.. The only thing that commits you to the eternal junk yard of eternity... the Lake of Fire... is rejecting the Saving Grace of God’s remedy for your imperfections and mine found in Jesus Christ the Savior of the world. That’s not my point of view. Thats what God and His Word teaches!
I think you have an issue with Him not me.
(John 3:16, 17, 36)
Really?
Did I question God, or his word?
Nope. I questioned your ridiculous position that having too much to drink is a sin. You finally answered my question and damned your position in the post that I am now replying to. Thanks.
You really should concern yourself with your own soul.
Dude, do what ever you want to do... that is my position... I'm not God. All I said is that God said that drunkenness is wrong... over and over and over...
I choose by my freewill to believe Almighty God and His Word. You have to make your own choice to believe Him or not. Don't be hating me....
I lived that drunk life for years and nothing ever came out good of it. In my life and in others. so I know by experience it's a dead end.
All the best,
David
