Father Jonathan S. Toborowsky
Fr. Jonathan (Jay) Toborowsky was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Metuchen (New Jersey) in 1998. A native of Port Reading, NJ, Fr. Jay is a convert from Judaism and was baptized in 1990. He attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies and Philosophy, and Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD, where he earned a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Arts Degree in Theology (specializing in Church History). He has served as Associate Vocations Director for the Diocese, as well as diocesan committees such as the Presbyteral Council and the Commission for Historical Records. Since 2003, he has been the host of "Proclaim the Good News", the Diocese of Metuchen's weekly radio show. With Frs. Brighenti and Trigilio, he is co-author of the book, John Paul II for Dummies.
