I read it 4 times myself and didn’t get it.
This von Brunner apparently justified his actions with a rambling screed based upon evolutionary tenets, and the author was attacked on Beliefnet for pointing that out.
This is a response by the author, wondering if the man’s beliefs would be given such a pass, if he’d been on the creationist side of things.
He wouldn’t.
