If Mary is so important why is she not mentioned in Scripture after Acts Chapter 1.14 ?. Except for one time in Romans which may or may not be the mother of Jesus, the name Mary is not even found in the NT after Acts. Wonderful point.
If I might add, why didn't our Lord and Saviour refer to her as mother. Also, she was clearly not given any special status as shown in Luke 11:27-28.
The special status and authority that the RCC and EO attribute to Mary only illustrates how easily heresy can become doctrine in a centralized hierarchy. It's not to say that heresy can't infect a congregational decentralized church, but it's harder for it to thrive and become doctrine.

...why didn't our Lord and Saviour refer to her as mother...That is a mighty big presumption.

Are you saying that Our Lord, who observed every commandment perfectly, dishonored His Mother?

Also, she was clearly not given any special status...See Luke 1:26-37.
...as shown in Luke 11:27-28.
Now continue on to Luke 1:38. ;)
