I would welcome to church each and every person mentioned here on the same basis as myself – as person struggling with weakness, confusion and sin – and yet a child of our heavenly father. a person needing correction and healing.

The UCC’s error is identifying the disorder itself as the core of the personality, or even as a virtue and a gift. Like an oncology dept that cheers the carcinoma, or an AA group celebrating with MD 20/20.

Well spoken. A celebration of activies proscribed by Scripture is hardly something a Christian church ought to do.
