Elijah and the prophets of Baal... 1 Kings 18:25-39
1Ki 18:25 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire.”
1Ki 18:26 So they took the bull given them and prepared it. Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “O Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.
1Ki 18:27 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.”
1Ki 18:28 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed.
1Ki 18:29 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.
1Ki 18:30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the LORD, which was in ruins.

1Ki 18:37 Answer me, O LORD, answer me, so these people will know that you, O LORD, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”
1Ki 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.

Some observations:
1. like the prophets of Ball, Joey Smith hijacked the religion of the true God of the Bible..
2. Like mormons the prophets of Ball practiced blood atonement..
3. Like mormons, the prophets of Baal relied on worldly events and themselves to get things done...
4. Like Christians, Elijah depended and believed on the God of the Bible for miracles..
5. Like the prophets of Baal and Baal worship, mormonism and the worship of Joey Smith will be overcome by true faith in the Living God of the Bible..
6. Like the prophets of Baal, ther prophets of mormonism and the mormons do not get anawers from their gods...
7. Like Elijah, a Christian man or woman will ALWAYS get an answer from the Living God of the Bible...

Look, I’ll leave your religion alone if you leave mine alone. Sorry; but I will continue as long as possible to point the fact that MORMONism is NOT christianity and JS was NOT called of the Lord.
The EVIDENCE is too over whelming.
If you wish to merely wave your hands and go on; there is nothing I can do about it.
Only the Holy Spirit can break thru walls of deception.
If you wish to believe JS' claim about PRESBYTERIANism with NO evidence, and to reject your own religions founders statements WITH evidence; there is nothing I can do.
