It should be the “Hate the White Heterosexual” Bill.

When any crime can be committed by any race, religion, sect, etc to a white person, that is not considered a hate crime.

I'm reading through George Orwell's 1984, again. We are doing the SAME thing as he book. What is abnormal is elevated. We have the “thought police” via “hate crimes”. At some point we may have “hate week”. Maybe we already have it - Day of Silence and “Gay Pride”. We are throwing out morality and humanity (abortion, PBA, euthanasia).

Yes, we will have euthanasia for ADLUTS because of “scarce medical resources” being created by Obama’s “universal health care”. Can you imagine what kinds of doctors we will have to go to, that will carry out his agenda? THINK ABOUT IT!

They will use the bill to come after Christians, Preachers, Ministers, and Priests. Note that “preachers” like Jeremiah Wright will continue to be free to spew out their racism and hatred.

I thought the Obama promised not cater to lobbyists and special interest groups because he gets the funding from the people. When the gays failed to show up at a fund-raising dinner recently, the Administration immediately jumped to cater to them.

This bill is nothing but elevating special interest groups above everyone else. These types of laws chip away slowly but surely at our freedom to think and believe. Once you start protecting some, other exemptions will follow, and that leads to totalitarianism.

Americans need to think better when they vote. Giving the Congress to the same party that's in the White House is a dangerous precedent because it can lead to tyranny of the majority. We have seen some of it in the jingoistic takeover of the Congress by the Republicans and a tit-for-tat repeat after the most recent "regime change."

The other danger is the fact that it's easier to give than to take away. Those rights given to special groups become entitlement which cannot be simply revoked. The more such one-sided entitlements are granted the more unequal and polarized the society becomes. I think we are all playing with fire.
