I agree that no one is forcing me to watch the rubbish on electronic media. When I watch TV, I prefer to put in one of my DVD’s from the Golden Age of both movie and television. Or I don’t watch at all. I’ll read(which is better, anyway) or do something else. Hitting the off switch on the TV is the moral equivalent of flushing a commode. Unfortunately, the stench lingers on in our TV-ized culture in which I must work, shop and live. Just as you have the right to decide what to watch(as do I),I have the right to despise the moral rot in our culture and to actively oppose it.
I understand what your saying. fortunately where I work we have dress codes so there ain’t a lot of butts showing. So it’s drive into the big city work and drive back home. I purposely moved out of Wichita Kansas because of all the crime and gang bangers. we have one main highway through the middle of town going south and north the one I drive to work on every day and you never know when some dumb shit is going to pull a gun on you if he or she felt like you dis them or something so I’d rather not drive around to much in Wichita, and I work 2nd shift so it in town before the 5:00 rush and it out of town after midnight.
