Hi All,
Very interesting article if you have time to read the whole thing...
You know ST..I do believe the 7 yr tribulation did start Sept/Oct 2008...:)
Well, at least it’s not the usual “December 21, 2012” crap.
I love a good convergence! The Mayans said December 21, 2012, and I’m sure Nostradamus (sp?) has a quatrain pointing to this general timing as well. No more long positions on the stock market for me!
I think starting in 2010 many people are going to start doing some xtremely Whacky things in regards to 2012..
In B4the ZOT?
“No one knows the day or the hour, for that is known only to the Father. But the window...”
Isn’t the Anti-Christ to be revealed at the beginning of the 7 year tribulation period? Don’t think we are quite there just yet!
It’s also a real possibility that He will return on the Feast of Trumpets, or so I’ve been told by Jewish believers.
ping
Jesus Christ Himself does not know when He will return yet we have men who think they can determine this within a six month period. Incredible. Could they post some stock tips while they are at it?
Yeah, this is the sort of thread that brings Free Republic great repute.
The Mayans apparently were in a league comparable to the Chaldeans and the Egyptians when it came to recognizing Celestial events.
I think that your extrapolation of Biblical comments regarding future events is in contradiction with Bible tenets.
very well said.
Within the “Seventy ‘sevens,’” there are TWO “abomination that causes desolation.” Daniel 9:27 references the Antichrist’s “seven year period,” and the “abomination that causes desolation” in the middle of the “seven year period.” “abomination that causes desolation,” is something unclean in accordance with Levitical law being sacrificed in the Jewish Temple, or a Gentile sacrificing in the Temple.
(From a Biblical perspective, there are two classes of people in this world; Jewish people, who are descendants of Jacob [Israelites], and Gentiles [sometimes referred to as Greeks]). Antiochus Epiphanes was the first “abomination that causes desolation,” when he desecrated the Jewish Temple at Jerusalem for a three and one-half year period between 168-165 B. C.
The Antichrist will be the second “abomination that causes desolation,” when he desecrates the Jewish Temple at Jerusalem for a three and one-half year period, in the last half of the Seven Year Tribulation Period. In a perfect parallel to the two times that Jesus Christ comes, there has already been one “abomination that causes desolation,” just prior to Jesus’ first Coming, and there is still an “abomination that causes desolation” to come, just prior to Jesus’ Second Coming, making a total of TWO.
Maybe Obama is going to desecrate it when he turns 49 next August.
“No more long positions on the stock market for me!”
I just refinanced. I knew I should have taken the 5 year ARM instead of the 30 year fixed.
In before the Second Coming....
Hardly..It is Prophetic Times and posted in the religion section....
Wait! What happened to December 2012?! I’m planning to max my credit cards and hit my boss with a canoe paddle. I can’t do that and hang around for another three years.
When He doesn’t return according to this timetable, you always have the option to declare that He actually did return “spiritually”, and then you can start your own religious organization.
