Not knowing "the day or the hour" is quite different from not recognizing the year, then the month, and then the week as they approach. Are you not putting words in Jesus' mouth?
And then are you not violating Peter's command to treat those who need educating "with gentleness and respect"?
Who now is acting arrogantly?
Anyone who claims to predict Christ’s coming when He himself does not know it is indeed as arrogant as they come and deserves being called out as such.
