Holy Savior parishioner Lena Breckenridge is one of around 85 persons registered for adoration at Holy Savior Parish, Wichita. The tabernacle was made by a parishioner.
Our church with its perpetual adoration chapel is 1.7 miles away. I walk to it, kneel and pray, use the bathroom :-) and then walk back for a perfect outing. I really value that devotion. There’s always some quiet soul in the back sitting and reading or saying the rosary. Some day I hope that my life is calm enough that I can volunteer an hour per week.
We are just finishing up a true 40 hour devotion this week (round the clock 24 hrs)for our diocese 35 yr anniversary. I went for 1 hour last night with my son. It was great. It is the only thing that is going to save us at this point; fast and pray people, like your life depends on it- it does......
