Your point about a kind of refresher course of Luthers Cathechism will offend some.
Not me, because I understand your point and actually agree.

I can forsee a bit of a hesitency on just welcoming the ELCA faithful with open arms and without conditions.
Another thing is we have a very biblical pastor at my church and I see a strong possibility that we may very well make a quick exit from the ELCA.

I would think that anyone making the change would welcome the opportunity for a refresher. I look forward to every minute I can have with our pastor in an adult Bible class.
