continued Merrill said the common notion that the Mayan and Aztec peoples and other such civilizations known to have lived in Central America during Book of Mormon history influenced his choice of jungle location. (He ultimately filmed "The Testaments" on the Hawaiian island of Kauai after roaming the jungles of the Yucatan.)

"I can't wait to redo the movie and put buffalo in it," he said.

Merrill said his mental map has been altered by DNA experts who are not finding hard evidence that the Book of Mormon people ever lived in Central America and by researchers such as Rod Meldrum, the author of the new DVD "DNA Evidence for Book of Mormon Geography." Meldrum and other researchers argue that the Nephites and Lamanites lived in the same basic area of the United States where the LDS Church was founded.

When someone locates one of those Mormon book battlefields and unearths the bones of the thousands and thousands who died, or finds the remnants one of those great structures or buildings from LDS history, let me know. I'll be around.

"I can't wait to redo the movie and put buffalo in it," he said.

The book of mormon is loaded with animals that have been shown not to be present in the Americas during the bom period (500BC-400 AD), such as the Ass, Bull, Calf, Cattle, Cow, domestic Goat (the Nephites claimed to have found the domestic goat!), Horse, Ox, domestic Sheep, Sow, Swine, & Elephants.

Why aren't animals such as Coatimundis, Deer, Jaguars, Tapir, Monkeys, Sloths, Turkeys, and yes - buffalo - mentioned when they were animals that existed?

Not to worry.

Mormons apologists even think that DNA can prove geography.

That's sort of akin to the H1NI flu strain "proving" a peninsula.

"I can't wait to redo the movie and put buffalo in it," he said.

Why not!

The BoM already contains the output from them!

"I know that the Book of Mormon is true.

No, son; you HOPE that it's true - you BELIEVE that it's true.

There is no way to KNOW that it's true - 'warming of the heart' has been known to lie to you.

Merrill said his mental map has been altered...

Yup...

...the BIBLE warns of that.
