St. Therese is the patron saint of Catholic missions and England today truly is missionary territory.

I pray that this visit re-ignites a spark of faith in that lost and desolate land.

The National Shrine of St. Therese is located only about an hour from our home, and we have visited it a few times. What a saint!

When I was told I would probably not be able to become pregnant, my husband and I started a novena immediately after we were married to "The Little Flower." Not only did I get pregnant on approximately the day she was born, but our son was born (not on her feast day of Oct. 1st but) on the day she died, September 30, which, of course, was the day she went straight to heaven. Now, there are 365 days in the year; it's just not a coincidence!
