***Dont make it personal!***
Thank you for the reminder. I shall attempt to not make the care, feeding and catheterizing of the crazy old uncle personal in any way.
***Don’t have a cat, but here is one of me with ONE of my 3 dogs...SOMEBODY likes me! ***
Well, some of us out here are getting kinda used to you...
That sarcasm tag was really insulting. I got what you are saying and I only had to read it three times and ask my Friends what you really meant twice.
I did consult my Klingon dictionary for some of the stuff you wrote.
Benny Hinn is that British Comedian, right?
I want the answer key to the first sentence if you come across one.
***Benny Hinn is that British Comedian, right?***
Well, listening to his exhortations, he’s almost as funny. But the hair, the hair...
Why is it that one might actually judge just how far away from Christianity a televangelist is by the hairstyle?
The poster in question apparently believes himself to be “Himself” and uses both scriptural and original (with him) prophesies to make his rather vague and convoluted points.
Meanwhile, I have some nice mini-Bonbel and Baybels on hand. Do you like cheese?
Awwwwwwww
What a pity.
Some rabid folks could likely be lined up and force fed . . . particularly if some sensibilities reigned.
Thank you for seeing to reason. I did not want to tag you for abuse to the RM. ;-]
Now don’t go spoiling a good thing. I don’t know why you are defending somebody like this; this is lunatic and koolaid territory.
I like Feta and squares of rib eye with grilled onions and grilled tomatoes with a side dish of buttered rice. MMMMMMMMM
I’m actually mixed on ‘once saved, always saved’. As proponents discuss it, those who persevere to the end are the ones who were truly saved in the first place, which seems to make it a distinction without a difference.
As for repentance, the only formality is to go to God, confess and repent. Ask His forgiveness and for His strength to live differently. The only unforgivable sin that I know of is to reject Him thru to death.
A good Calvinist would say God needs to work the will to repent, but there again I tend to find it a distinction without a difference - for if I wish to repent, then God has already done so. If I do not, then I claim I do not wish to repent.
I think the predestination/free will debate is something that no human truly understands, because God hasn’t fully revealed it. But that is just my opinion.
But if someone needs to repent, they can do so. If they go to God and repent, God can lead them on the next step.
The hair can be misleading sometimes you have to see if they actually do what they say. My dad always said, “Watch their hands, not their mouths.”

I think that instead of creating his own god and keeping him on the hall stand, he has created his own god and gazes at him in the mirror. For the life of me, I cannot understand why he has any defenders other than those who enjoy a good belly laugh.
I actually more of a traditionalist; ancient aged (itchy) Cheddar, Provolone and the occasional well aged Swiss are sufficient for me. I do not require any further cheesy comestibles.

Crazy is as crazy does, Quix. Christian theology is not to be screwed with.

Much appreciated. I shall endeavour to keep all personal activities as impersonal as words typed on a page will allow.
Guess the Roman Church didn’t realize that at several points in the last 1600 odd years.
They’ve been doing it with amazing audacity and cheekiness many times over their existence in that time.
How does the confession and repentance look? Is there some duty to make restitution or is it simply between you and God?
I am curious because I've met plenty of unrepentant repentants, if you follow my drift.
I won't bother to discuss at length the fact that your presuppositions on things like the Rapture are fatally flawed within the theologies of the majority of contemporary Christian denominations, and never saw the light of day within any Christian body until almost the middle of the 19th Century. Those are the simple facts. Combining them with the fact that your "Jesus" can't even speak credibly in English half the time, and one can see right through this drivel. Are you taking dictation? If you are, ask "Jesus" to get out the buff brush for his language skills, please. Enough already! Mere sentimentality and wishful thinking do not a true prophet make, even if all of the statements made happen to be unobjectionable in and of themselves.
I would urge you to consider that, if you are putting words in Jesus' mouth, you are playing with fire through your own arrogance and hubris. How dare anyone put words into the mouth of God without His expressed order to do so, no matter how "true" or "right" they may seem? Again, you are playing with fire, my friend.
