More people have used opium or other opiates than all of the Popes combined, too. And? More people have murdered others than all of the Popes combined. What does that prove? What does ‘seen’ mean in this case?

In the interest of fairness, I said this as a way to illustrate just the absurdity of the notion that the Pope doesn't exist.
