Actually, the picture has been cropped for the publication. St. Matthew is the man on the far left of the picture with head downcast looking at the coins in front of him.

This is an absolutely brilliant piece, Salvation. Thanks for posting it.

I am now in the third year of formation for the permanent diaconate and it speaks directly to my heart. I need to see if I can get a print for framing for our home.

As a tax person, I’ve always felt a special connection to St. Matthew. I think his Gospel indicates a financial mind!
