In 1504 while Christopher Columbus was stranded in Jamaica, he used his foreknowledge of a lunar eclipse to fool the natives into provisioning his men. Knowledge is power. Could a modern people such as ourselves fall for similar trickery? Should we necessarily respect or trust the ‘highly evolved’ or technologically advanced?
We have already done so, through lack of critical thinking skills -- the anthropomorhic global warming hoax plays on the ignorance of "modern people such as ourselves," who enjoy all the fruits of scientific discovery, but who don't know enough geologic and paleontological history to get that a couple of centuries of "climate data" in the context of gaging global climate trends is like thinking that one milisecond of film from a full-length feature movie could enable one to determine the plot.
Of course!
Wasn't high tech Nazi Germany a big improvement over Imperial Rome?
