Thank you NYer. As I suspsected, unofrtunately such brilliant insight into Eastern Mariology did not come from a Latin cleric. But, it is certainly good that such mindset is being presneted to the rest of the Catholic community by this man. Of course, I am not at all surprized that he also appears on Melkite sites. Thank you again.

There is a truly remarkable story coming out of Our Lady of Lebanon Church in Miami FL. Two weeks ago, a Hindu family attended services at the parish, accompanied by their young, crippled son in a wheelchair. Afterwards, they stopped at a nearby store. The father left the son outside while he went in to pick up a newspaper. When he returned, the child told him that a man with a white beard and wearing a long black robe, had come over to him. When the man left, the boy felt strength return to his legs. With that he stood up and showed his father that he could walk.

I don't have more details than those. One of our families was in that church last Sunday when the priest announced this to the parishioners. The Hindu family was not there that day either. Be that as it may, there is no way that a Hindu family could ever know about St. Charbel.
