My thought is that the Church age is the time of the Gentiles. That the Church age ends at the Rapture. And that the last 7 years are once again Israels time. (Why else would there be a temple and temple sacrifices?)

Romans 11:25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.

Obviously God has either a specific number of Gentiles, or a specific time for Gentiles. After that Gods mercy falls back to Israel.
