I have been in hospital twice with allergic reactions to antibiotics. Broke out in hives when doc gave me blood pressure meds, the first ones. Youngest son had severe reaction to amoxicillin. Oldest son almost died, went into Anaphylaxis (Anaphylactic shock) after taking ONE Ceclor tablet. Six hours in emergency room with a team of doctors and nurses working on him, then two more hours in observation. It was touch and go. Two more red wasp stings and my allergy doctor told me I will be dead, severe allergy. Scary.
