2000 years ago before Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead, He chose men. The elite class and religious rulers of that day called these men ignorant. God, however, called these men to be His Fishermen and Ambassadors to the dying world.

This article is bizarre...That's your own private interpretation...
We KNOW that the people God calls to spread His word must have at least 8 years of formal education plus a seminary education...And most importantly, they must be trained in philosophy...They also need a working knowledge of Greek and Latin...

Praise God that He chose simple, uneducated people like John, and Peter and millions upon millions of folks like myself to reveal Himself thru His words...
And God warns us that we can educate ourselves right out of knowing Him...
Holy Spirit trumps worldly education any day.
I’ve noticed though the more I learn about God and his word, the more I feel inspired to know more , so Greek and Latin will be in my future....
But it has nothing to do with knowing God. He can speak ad reveal to whomever he likes in whatever language or communication mode they need....

I’m usually the first one to jump all over blogpimps but IF is a singular, shining exception.
The mods also have informed me that rules in the religion forum are more relaxed.
IF is not promoting him(or her)self, but the word of God. I have no problem with that.
That’s all it is... Those like to use that term (Pimp) it’s because the message bothers them.. It’s a way of lashing out for them. They show their cards every time. The term Ignorant Fishermen has been long used by those who are elitist and Religious elite snobs.. as a derogatory term to label the believers of Christ in Spirit and truth. The “rant - post” is to encourage those to trust Almighty God and to not let the Demonic influenced elites discourage them. That you are not alone… Peter, John, James, Andrew.. etc... were called the same.
Again to all the haters... find my name or other names on the blog...you will NOT... We are not about that. All Is done for the glory of God and to get God’s message out. If you have not ears to hear…then move along… We will not be offended at all..
